Studies Show...
Credit to my friend Jeff for coming up with the title. Anyway, I learned this awesome color technique in my comics class so I decided to keep practicing. Here are some of the studies. It's still rough but I'm working on it. Let me know if you think of something that could help! Done with acrylic and colored pencil on bristol board, plus ink wash in the bottom one.

Rendering different gradation according to lighting across the entire body is a challenge I relish taking. Studious. Don't be bashful!
